"I like to use direct simple brushstrokes and exciting colour palettes to produce 'truthful paintings' which get to the heart or essence of a place and how I respond to it emotionally. I try not to be afraid of failure, to keep paintings simple, to stick with good ideas, and know that it doesn't always have to make sense."

Following her joint exhibition with Clare Blois: 'Coast & Water' in 2020, and a 2022 collection of bright florals, foreboding mountains and stunning seascapes, we were delighted to welcome Kathy back to Alchemist in 2023 with her exhibition 'Fragments' which ran from 16th March until 25th April. We continue to have available a selection of Kathy's work year round.
