''My exhibition work is a representation of Scottish scenery produced with a scalpel, paper, cutting mat and spray paint plus considerable patience''.
Kevin began making pieces using cut paper after visiting a Perthshire based artist during an open studio event, who kindly taught him the basics of this craft and the tools that come with it.
"This led to me trying this medium and beginning to better understand what makes the essential structure and composition of an artwork, perhaps with just a slight flash of colour. The works are a simplification of a scene or design but still aim to be identifiable or to have meaning."
This medium has proved successful and has encouraged him to become more adventurous in producing something that is slightly different to his other work.
