From the functional to the fantastical, there are many talented potters, ceramicists and glassworkers who create in their own sheds, workshops and studios. Shapes, sizes and styles can vary from batch to batch, depending on natural variations in materials, maker's mood and even the weather.

This suits our desire to be different, as does the fact these individuals only produce in low volume, so we only stock what we can get, when we can get it. So, whether you're looking for an everyday mug or a special stand-out piece, we should have something. Just don’t expect it to be the same as anyone else's.

Alongside our ceramics and pottery, you'll find a beautiful selection of glass art here at Alchemist Gallery including decorative and wearable glass pieces by Black-Isle based artist Emma Nightingale, and stained glass decorations made in Dingwall by Muirne Buchanan.
