I painted this piece after taking a very cold and snowy walk to the Pink House on Loch Glass, in the Scottish Highlands. It was getting dark and as we approached the Pink House a snow storm began to move from behind it towards us. We we encapsulated in a swirling wind of snow that followed us all the way back. This location is utterly breath-taking as it sits at the foot of Ben Wyvis and so is surrounded by Loch and mountain... a magical place.
