We were delighted that Alchemist Gallery was the venue for Lian's first ever exhibition : 'Capturing the Firth' ran from 5th May - 14th June 2022. We continue to sell Lian's original works and prints, all inspired by the area we are fortunate enought to call home.
"I believe we are all connected to the land and I aim to capture its emotions and memories through my work. Bold brushstrokes like the whipping waves and tumbling mountains. Vibrant colours, wild yet balanced - I hold this in my heart as I paint. I want my art to be alive, for my paintings to feel relatable. I want my work to have the strength of the impressive landscapes surrounding me. I want it to hold interest and create impact. I want the viewer to connect, to feel the energy drawn from the land and held forever on canvas as a reminder of nature's magnificence."
