MacDuff Sunday - print by Sandy Gracie
A4 print in a cream mount. Overall size: 277mm W x 345mm H including mount. From an original by Dingwall based Sandy Gracie.
The town of MacDuff in Aberdeenshire, rises steeply from harbour to hilltop, where the Parish Church and Town Cross dominate the skyline. Whilst walking up to the church on a Sunday may seem a steep climb today, the building of their own church saved earlier worshipers the 8 mile walk to Gamrie. A beautifully crafted stained-glass window, known as ‘The Children’s Window’ was added to the church in 1922 as a dedication to those lost in World War 1.
From a limited edition run of only 20 prints, each signed by the artist.
