Here at Alchemist we love Moira’s delightful painted and stitched works, as do our customers, and we have a regularly changing selection of beautiful original pieces for sale.

"My stitched work is made firstly by painting on canvas before layering with millions of tiny stitches. I use only straight stitch and just the needle and a profusion of richly coloured thread, guided by hand on my domestic sewing machine. The background painting can be glimpsed at times through the thread, but it’s totality will remain hidden.”
