Rachael Jane MacDonald

Based in Conon Bridge, Rachael's work is derived from Scottish folklore and superstitions; giving a sense of how people used to experience the world; as a layered and symbolic shifting place imbued with a sense of possibility and otherness. These stories and beliefs reflect a deep respect and reverence for nature. She works with natural dyes, rust dyes, printmaking, embroidery, gold leaf and cyanotype.
