From the jetty at Tayvallich, a village at head of Loch Sween, Argyll in south west Scotland, you can catch the passenger ferry to the spectacular Isle of Jura. Others that have had reason to make passage through Tayvallich over the years include St Columba’s priests, the Vikings, cattle Drovers and even earth tremors due to its location on a fault that runs north east and south west.
