Fiona Kearney credits a happy upbringing in Easter Ross as being a major influence on her work. She returned to studying art after working as a draughtswoman and hydrographic cartographer. A mother of four daughters, she works mainly in oils, but also in watercolour and ink.

A modest Highlander, Fiona is in fact an extremely talented artist; turning her paintbrush to surreal, fantasy, figurative and landscape art.
With a real eye for detail and the ability to incorporate original, imaginative quirks; her work simply stands out. She can produce a mean cat, and her highly accurate depictions of vintage tractors, cars and trains in the landscape, point towards them becoming collectible.
